Bin Ming:
Is sounds as if you are only using the Device Tab without using the
Media Tab.
You should be able to select Kodachrome and the type from the media
menu. I scanned some old kodachromes (1960 vintage and earlier) using
Vuescan and the all came out fine.
There is 1 setting in Vuescan in the Device Tab that you set. In the
Device Tab's Media Type window pick "slide film" from the drop down
menu. In the Media Tab you should set "Kodak" from the first drop down
menue, "Kodchrome" from the 2nd menu and the 3rd is a single default
setting.
I believe that for Sensia you will use "Generic" in the first wondow and
leave the other two alone because they have only one setting for
generic.
I hope this helps.
