I need to admit a bit of confusion regarding Ed's conventions for new
versions. They are his own of course, but if I were to make a
suggestion it would be to update the 2nd digit whenever, he changes
how the primary scan is measured, exposed, or scanned. For example,
the difference between version 6.4.11 & 6.4.12 would have updated to
6.5.
Version convention is somewhat arbitrary, and I suppose Ed has his
reasons, ... however, my suggestion would let us all know he has
changed Vuescan relative to the "raw" scan, instead of adding/changing
something relative to the crop. The difference of course, suggests to
us we might want to "scan again" versus "point Vuescan" at an already
existing "raw scan" file.
