Ed, sorry to say, but you missed the conversation. There was a statement
made that the software on the PC is what maintains the cartridge use
information, which, was what the poster was replying to...and what he said,
was, in fact, the end of the debate...that the people at Epson said the
information IS maintained in the cartridge, therefore NOT on the PC...that
was the point.
