Michael, this sounds interesting. Only one question. I have some tacky
silicone "filters" which stick to the glass of my skylight filter (they
are not optically pure, BTW, they have defraction grating etched into
them for special effects like rainbow color bursts around bright light
sources and reflections). There was also a Canadian Optometrist that
designed a set of silicone lenses that one could stick onto their
regular glasses to make them into bifocals...
Anyway, this stuff is interesting because it can be washed with water to
renew the "stickiness". However, I did notice the silicone filters
tended to leave a slight residue on the glass skylight filter after
they'd been used.
Have you found any residue left on film from these silicone rubber rollers?
