filmscanners: SS4000: Aspi32/Advansys for Win 2000
I wrote earlier about problems installing the SS4000 on Win 2000.
Through the help of people here and an FAQ on the Polaroid site, I know I
need two things to make this work.
1. Upgraded W2K driver for the Advansys SCSI PCI card that comes with the
SS4000. I was able to get this from the Advansys site.
2. A Win 2000 WNASPI32 file for Advansys. Supposedly this is on the AdvanSys
SCSI CD that comes with the SS4000. It is in the NTASPI32 subdirectory in
this CD, but my CD, I think, is too old(Dec 99) and I can't find it anyway.
If anyone can tell me how to get this, I would appreciate it. I can't find
on the Polaroid site how to email them, but I can try phoning them this
week. I can't find the actual ASPI32 file on the Advansys site and the
Adaptec version doesn't work.
