You can be consistent with everyone else ... convert to sRGB.

IE5 for the Mac does, but you'd have to try it before you're
convinced. As for all other monitors, ... yes ... your point is well
taken ... but not trying to accommodate as many as possible makes no
progress what-so-ever.
