filmscanners: SCSI card not recognized by Win2K

I found that I couldn't get the SCSI card that came with my SS4000 to be 
recognized by Win2K. It's an AdVanSys card and I downloaded the Win2K 
updated drivers but they wouldn't install because the computer didn't see 
the card at all.

Any suggestions before I purchase an Adaptec 2930 tomorrow?

The card works great in my other computer running Win98SE with both the 
SS4000 and an Epson Perfection 1200S chained together.
