I missed that bit out of the story, as it was already rather long. This is 
something I often do - supply an Epson print as a proof for matching. On this 
occasion I did the print, but the skin tones were not close enough to the 
original image that I wanted the repro house to try and match it. Considering 
the ghastly mess that emerged, that was a bad decision.

I think I'll scan the mag and the Epson print and stick the whole lot on a web 
page as a terrible warning to others :)
