 Yes, I've done this quite often, when I can produce an Epson print which I am 
happy with as an accurate facsimile of the scan. The trouble is that I have 
problems getting skin tones exactly matched on some images, and on this 
occasion the Epson print looked a bit overblown. I didn't want the repro house 
to replicate that, so didn't pass it on :(
