Re: filmscanners: ss4000 repair bill
i always get extended warranties on printers and scanners because they have
so many mechanical parts (which tend to wear out a lot faster than solid
state). i've sent my ls-2000 in for repairs twice in the last 3 years and
the $100 warranty has saved me $600 so far.
