thanks. what i'm doing now is looking around to see if i can grab a used
one for <50$ to try out. it it works OK, so much the better. if not, no
big loss :) and in the meantime, save for a real filmscanner :) even w/
600dpi i hope i can get passable 640x480 size scans. we shall see just how
limited it is with 35mm (looks like MF negs do well here due to larger
size/info)
