RE: filmscanners: off subject

I've seen some absolutely astonishing prints done on an Epson 1270, which is 1440 dpi. The 1280 I believe is similar in size capability and is 2880 dpi. The 1270 is on my short 'wish list'

Is there a decent 12X18 inch printer available to print color photo's that
