I just released VueScan 7.1.21 for Windows, Mac OS 8/9/X
and Linux.  It can be downloaded from:

What's new in version 7.1.21

  * Infrared data only acquired during preview or scan
    if "Device|Bits per pixel" set to "64-bit RGBI" or
    if "Filter|Infrared clean" set for preview or scan

  * Fixed problem with infrared dust removal on
    Canon FS4000 and Acer ScanWit 2740S

  * Fixed problem with "Device|Auto focus" set to "Scan"
    and "Device|Number of passes" greater than 1

  * Fixed problem with some USB scanners on Mac OS X

  * Added support for older three-pass Microtek scanners,
    including the ScanMaker 600ZS

  * Fixed problem with image mirroring on Nikon LS-1000
