RE: filmscanners: flatbed scanner
I have an Epson 1240U (U means USB port) and it is all the scanner I
need. Got it at Amazon. A word of caution however (and this may
apply to other manufacturers/models) Go the the Epson site and get the
latest drivers BEFORE you attempt the installation. With this machine it
is necessary to do an uninstall some of which is a bit more complex then
add/remove programs. (I have Windows ME as my OS and the win98 drivers
don't work with Windows ME)
