On the files tab, be sure to use a number (it can be a name and number or just
a number), and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, be sure you have a plus sign after the number
and just before the ".tif" or ".jpg"
It's the plus sign after the number that saves the scans sequentially and
prevents accidental overwrites.

Subject: filmscanners: Vuescan - filenames
| On a related note - I kind if wish Vuescan didn't leave it so easy to
| overwrite a file, since it doesn't ask you if you want to overwrite
| the file of the same name. I've had to rescan a couple when I forgot
| to go into files and change the name. This is such a given in most
| Windows apps, I wonder why Ed didn't set it up this way? Or am I
| missing something?
