One thing that you MUST do is ensure that Insight is installed. No Insight -
No SilverFast.
Use the explorer to completely remove SilverFast from your computer. The
control panel delete feature is useless. Find the SilverFast folder and
delete it that way. I assume you have 5.2 on CD and 5.5 as a download. To
get 5.5 working you need to put the 5.2 dc in the drive, but don't install
it. Next run the 5.5 installer.
