RE: filmscanners: Vuescan for Minolta Dimage Elite II
Thanks Ed, appreciate that.
Since you will be apparently one of the first users of this one, your
general opinions about his qualities are more then welcome.
Well, I'm flying to Taiwan today for a business purposes staying a week in
Taipei, so just though this will be great opportunity for some photo
purchases and the scanners were on my list.
Originally meant SS4000, but there is no official Polaroid's distributor and
representative in my country (Israel) so I'n afraid I'll have troubles with
their support should I need it.
However, being Minolta shooter, I became quite familiar with their service
center just for the sake, so I hope I'll can handle Minolta scanner should I
need their assistance.
The only thing bothering me that I always wanted 4000dpi though... :-(

Alex Z

No, not yet. Minolta said they'd loan me one when it's available.
They did loan me a Scan Multi Pro yesterday, but I haven't gotten
it out of the box yet.
