I just released VueScan 7.3.1 for Windows, Mac OS 8/9/X
and Linux.  It can be downloaded from:

What's new in version 7.3.1

  * Added workaround for a bug in some Mac OS 8/9/X SCSI drivers
  * Added warning before allowing overwriting tiff or jpeg files
  * Fixed problem starting VueScan on Windows XP
  * Fixed problem with Canon FS4000 ejecting when focusing
  * Fixed problem with 24-bit scans on older Microtek scanners
  * Fixed problem exiting when maximized on Windows and restarting
  * Fixed problem not finding calibration file when changing
    default folder
