[filmscanners] RE: OT: Quad-black inks/Epson ink usage
Can someone tell me if - going from colour use to Quad b & w - I
absolutely need to change both colour and black cartridges or can I just
change the colour cartridge. If I have to change both, my reading of the
instructions says I have to bin the half used black cartridge, then
stick with the Quad cartridges until they're empty. All this is on the
Epson 1290 and I'm just coming to the end of my first colour cartridge
(hence this being a good point to change over to the quad cartridges.
And if I'm misunderstanding the instructions stupidly here, I'm sorry
for wasting everyone's time.
