Try entering the actual IP address of the website instead of the name. In other
words, try entering:
http://192.150.14.120/
into your browser instead of http://www.adobe.com/
If this works, then the problem is DNS -- your system, or your ISP, cannot
convert the name into the number. Remember that the Internet runs on numbers,
not on names!
If this doesn't work, then try a low-level ping or tracert to the ip address:
ping 192.150.14.120 or tracert 192.150.14.120 to see if you have any
connectivity at all to that address via your ISP.
Hope this helps
Jon

Thanks everybody - guess I'll see if my ISP can help.
