[filmscanners] Re: Vuescan clipping



I'm intrigued by this comment - what is it about the Vuescan Kodachrome setting 
that you find appealing?  I understand that Ed created this setting to try to 
make the different emulsions look similar, but have never really grasped the  
advantage to that.  I normally *want* the look of a particular slide film, and 
it seems to me that only very slight adjustments of gamma and colour balance 
can be used if you want to make Kodachromes look like Ektachromes, Sensia, etc.
