I have also read many reports on music mail lists that
the prefered cd blanks are made by Taiyo Yuden. I
believe HP discs are made by TY. I also have read very
favorable reports of the Kodak Datalife discs (I think
they may have a few lines of discs and the high regard
does not extend to all lines, but this is my
frequently faulty memory nagging).
