I tried using beta 14 [Mac G4, SS4K] today & found it glacially slow
at first, then it just crashed, sulked and refused to work at all;
couldn't even complete the preview.

It may be the problem has been solved in beta 15. But I also had  VS
7.3.11 on the computer - could that be the problem? I removed the
folder containing the earlier version, but the problem persisted.
