[filmscanners] Got a chuckle from this

Since digital cameras have come up a bit due to the new Foveon chip...

I recently saw an ad for a Sony digital Camera at a local chain store.

Sony 1.3 megapixel camera

1X optical Zoom Lens!
2x Digital Zoom!

Since I was in the store's camera department for other reasons, I asked
the sales clerk if he could show me the camera.  I then asked him if he
could show me how to ZOOM the camera lens.  He showed me the digital
zoom feature.  I said, no, I understand there's a digital zoom, but how
do you use the zoom LENS, you know, the 1X optical Zoom lens?

He laughed when he realized I was joking a bit, and said "yeah, well,
the flyers are printed back east, what do you expect..."
