I just bought a 2450 Friday. So far I am quite pleased with it. Here are
some small shots scanned from 6x7. The candlestick and the car were on
slide film, and the iris was on negative film. I have exclusively used
Vuescan to run it, tho' I'll the the silverfast SE sometime soon.

I have made scans of a full 6x7 image at 2400 ppi. I haven't timed it yet,
but I'd say it takes in the neighborhood of 15 minutes. I am running it on
USB right now. I'm waiting for a firewire cable to see if that speeds
things up.

Regards

Victor Newman
