[filmscanners] Re: cdrw drives



It seems odd that the warrantee on the Plextor ran out in less than a
year.  I'll let the heavy CDRW users take the reliability part of the
question.  If you think about what kind of drive you'll want to be using in
2003, DVD's are going to look a lot better than CDs.  So, whatever CDRW you
get, I'd stick to the low end of the market -- about US$150 or
less.  Hopefully the recordable DVD situation will settle on one standard
later this year.
