I haven't seen any of the releases posted on Filmscanners, is Ed using
another means of communicating now?

went on vacation. If you're listening, Ed:
Great work! Thanks for keeping VueScan going and addressing all these
issues and bug reports. You've fixed both of the bugs I had with 7.5 on
Mac OS X.
