Yes. You'll need to use the glass Medium Format film holder
to do this. You can actually scan up to 38mm x 83mm at
4800 dpi.

I seem to remember someone claiming that Ed has implemented 4800dpi
scanning of 35mm panoramic negs(24mm x 65mm) in Vuescan.
Can anyone confirm if this is true as there is no reference to this
capability in any of Ed's documentation of Vuescan that I can find.
