[filmscanners] Re: Flattening negatives



If the negs are really bowed, speak to your lab.  They are using
incorrect drying technique.  Chances are they are using too hot a
temperature, or the drying is being done unevenly.

All force-dried negs tend to have a bit of a curve, but if it is severe,
they need to change who they are doing it.

I hope you don't have a Nikon scanner ;-)
