Hi everybody,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say hello to the group. I'm new to
this list but I'm not new in photography, although I do it as a hobby.
I recently started to discover also the "pros" of digital processing. So far
I was seeing only the "cons", although I work in the computer field and I'm
pretty comfortable in front of a computer (a PC not a Mac of course). I've
purchased an Acer 2720S a few months ago and now I'm struggling with
Photoshop and batch scanning all my negatives and slides. That's all about
it for now. A few questions will come later.

Good scanning and digital processing to all of you!
