Hi Tony,
        Yes, we've been discussing an article on the 'Luminous
Landscape' website. I posted a short follow-up to an original article
by Nick Rains on the black speckles in high-res scans that Nick calls
'Pepper grain'. I showed that the specks are probably caused by
microscopic bubbles in the scratch-resisitant layer outside the
emulsion.
