I only used the 4x5 and I'm pretty sure it left teeth marks on the
film. But what the heck it got me thinking. As far as expense for a
tension based film transport for scanners, I think folks are already
spending $100 for MF glass holders. I'm not saying it should retrofit
existing scanners, but it shouldn't be so radical as to toss out
existing scanner technology.
