[filmscanners] Re: FINALLY, why Nikon LS-8000 bands



But this is exactly the problem... it may manifest due to stepper motor
problems, or slippage, or film shift, or carriage movement.  Not having
a Nikon scanner, I won't claim to know what causes the mechanics of the
problem, but I think I'm onto the why.
