I have quite a few negatives that are bowed as much as 1/16 inch. In fact
the SA-21 won't load them. However, once I use the strip film holder, the
LS-40 has no difficulty getting a good scan. Perhaps you are thinking of
the Coolscan 8000 which may have troubles with the medium format stock.
