Don't get a cheap flatbed. You won't be happy with that either. Get the
least expensive, new MAJOR BRAND 35mm filmscanner that you can. Maybe the
bottom of the line Minolta. I believe that would easily do what you want.
It will likely be USB, rather than firewire, which I think, tends to be
supported only on the more expensive scanners. Most people here in this
list would probably also suggest VueScan as a very inexpensive yet capable
software package to use for the scanning if you didn't like the software
that comes with the scanner.
