Well, the funny part about this is what I said is entirely correct, and your
lack of understanding it is probably one of the reasons you don't understand
the concept of dynamic range correctly.

A simple example that shows this is clearly true is:

1) An overall range of 1, minimum discernable signal of .1 has a dynamic
range of 10

2) An overall range of 10, minimum discernable signal of 1 has a dynamic
range of 10...also...

...same exact dynamic range, but the actual values of the data are not the
same.
