[filmscanners] Re: What can you advise?

Put another way, my question is: "If, after a lightning strike which
ruined all your equipment (been there, done that) you had to buy a
new film scanner, what would you buy. And why?
<<<<<<<<<<<<

Not lightning, earthquake.

The Kodak 13MP digital camera.

Scanning's a pain, and the Kodak's lighter than the Mamiya 645 (though not
by much).
