Forgive my question but... why are you using CDRW's ? Its a well documented
fact that they are total pants. And so slow to work with....
Do yourself a BIG favour and use CDR's or some other method of back-up.
Something like Verbatim seem popular with the people 'in the know'.
Not that I'm an expert. I'm just passing in what I've been told !
