[filmscanners] Re: How to label CD backups

We got a box of markers from Dixon which are "Waterbase Permanent
Markers" and presumably not likely to disolve the label on a CD.
Dixon calls these markers "RediSharp Plus" and the product number on
the box is 98207. The only downside I have found to these is their
point is rather large (not fine point by any means) and will get
blunt with use. I admit, though, I still use Sharpies and other
markers which come with fine and ultrafine tips when I want to put
lots of info on the label. An aside: I had heard that a company was
planning on adapting Epson's pigment ink C80 inkjet printer to
accomodate CDs. Their old 740 is in use for this purpose.
