I have recently purchased Mitsui Gold from "cd team".
www.cdteam.co.uk
Mitsui, MAM (Mitsui Advanced Media in USA) sent me the name of the
European agent, MAM, (Manufacturing Advanced Media in Europe) who
sent me the name of the UK agent:'CD Team'
------
Here is a copy of an email from Mitsui:
"Regarding your question about Mitsui Gold products in Europe, Mitsui
manufactures White Thermal CD-R in both Gold and Silver. We have no
product list for Europe here. Moreover, seems products available in Europe
named different than here we have for North American customers.
>From the above reason, please contact our distributor or Uwe Ludwig if the
product is Gold CD-R, and availability of what we call here in the North
America the 'Archive Gold CD-R.' Mitsui Gold CD-Rs are archive grade
CD-Rs. The Archive Gold CD-Rs were produced for specific applications in
the past. The disc sampling rate is more frequent in our production
clean room area, as an added assurance to confirm the high quality.
Manufacturing is identical to Mitsui's standard Gold CD-Rs.

I don't remember anyone mentioning a list of brand names that are produced
by Mitsui. I thought they only manufactured CDRs under their own brand
name. Kodak licensed the Mitsui technology although they manufactured the
CDRs
themselves. Kodak ended production of CDRs fairly recently so I thought
that left Mitsui as the only game in town as far as quality CDRs went.
