[filmscanners] Re: Digital camera topics on this list (was: CanonIDsvs Pentax67II)

What does the Nature and Urgency of digicam 'enchroachment' into filmdom
have to do with scanning film?

As I understand the focus of this list, it is to exchange knowledge about
how best to get film based images into the digital domain. A far more
logical commonality would be to add to this list would be indepth
discussions of photoshop and corel, and I don't think that is anything that
is being suggested.

I don't think that's a correct analogy. Digicams are a timely and
pointed encroachment on film scanning. I can't believe that the nature
and urgency of that encroachment is not of great interest to the
majority of members on this list.
