[filmscanners] SS120/Vuescan - Batch preview problem
Anybody else having trouble getting batch previews of 35mm with newer (7.6.21
or 7.6.22)
versions of Vuescan with the Sprintscan 120?
Frame 1 previews OK, frame 2 previews halfway between frames with blown-out
highlights,
frames 3-5 come out dead white or red, frame 6 is in the right place, but again
has tonal
problems, especially a blown-out red channel. (even on b&w negs)
7.6.2 (Should really be called 7.6.02; it comes before 7.6.16) works fine
haven't tried
versions in between. I'm running Mac OS 9.2.2; saw one person on usenet with
similar
problems with OSX and 7.6.16.
Haven't loaded up any 120 since the upgrade to see if it's just 35mm or not,
probably will
tonight.
