I've tried the USB (not usb2) to SCSI and it did not work for me. I was
trying to connect a Polaroid Sprintscan 35 + to my laptop and wanted to save
the SCSI PCMCIA card expense.

Has anyone had experience with using Adaptec's USB2Xchange USB2-to-SCSI
converter to attach and operate LS-30 or other SCSI scanners? I'm looking
to do a system upgrade soon. This adapter, if it works well, looks to be a
more attractive option than installing a SCSI card just for the scanner.

Thanks.
