Asunto: [filmscanners] best slide film for scanning

Hello,

I use the Kodachrome 64 for making slides. But, I find that this film is
too hard (has too much contrast?) for good scanning results.
I think a soft (is this the right word? in german we say "weich") slide
film could give much better scan results.

Is there a slide film on the market which is best for scanning?
Can anybody give an suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

Egon Lang
