Dear Clive:
I use the Canon with the USB in a Celeron 700 equipment with 128 mb memory.
It takes 12/13 minutes at 4000 dpi and 3 minutes at the more used 2000 dpi,
medium clean set up.
I have used this scanner for almost two years and is excellent for non
commercial (high volume) use.
Regards
Jorge Talkowski
