Please see the last three links on my web page for a couple of reviews:

Here's what they said about this scanner (max grade is 5)
Functionality: 5
Resolution: 5
Slide scan results (multipass, 4x):
Contrast/density: 5
Color accuracy and saturation: 5
Negative scan results (multipass, 4x):
Contrast/density: 4
Color accuracy and saturation: 5
Subjective grade: 5
Speed (firewire, slide film, Dimage Scan Utility, Mac OS):
Index 4 images: 22s
Preview one image: 18s
Scan 5400dpi, 8bit/ch: 1m15s
Scan 5400dpi, Digital Ice: 3m30s
Scan 5400dpi, 8x multipass: 9m
They also liked the not-so-bad grain aliasing and the shadow details
(not much info on this topic, unfortunately).
BTW, I don't like Cd'I's scanner tests (not as good as their lens/camera
tests) so I wouldn't put too much base on this review.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Petru.
