I can confirm that. They are pretty well-designed. Having repaired one
(LS-30, after transport damage), I can say that their mechanical
design is very simple and robust. The only problem with the
LS-30/LS-2000 was the rather flaky strip loader, but the LS-40/LS-4000
and more recent models have a much much better one.
