[filmscanners] Minolta DiMage Scan Dual IV... looking for anyadvice/tips on using
Hi Guys
It's been a long time since I posted here mainly because I managed to get my
Canon scanner working as well as possible with all your help.
Just recently I have been given a Minolta DiMage Scan Dual IV and am looking
for any advice/tips on using it. AFAIK Vuescan does not support it (must be
a USB issue) which is a shame as I'm a lover of the software.
My main bug bear is the focussing settings, I can't understand the 3 options
at all. In the preferences one can set Automatic focus, yet there is an
Automatic Focus on point and a Manual Focus on point. The 50page manual has
about 6 pages in English with scant descriptions of the functions. I was
hoping for a detailed manual on the CD but alas no.
Any help/advice/tips appreciated.
