Hi Bob and all
Thanks for the info about the scanners.
I've uploaded an image of the simple SF-200 fix to my website for anyone
interested.

Pass it around as I know many people have probs.
Cheers

does it fit now?
Rob,
The SF200 works with the LS2000 and LS4000ED, but the 5000 has a different
version - SF210 I believe.
I've just ordered a SF200 for my 4000, so I'm interested in your fix for
jamming. Can you give more details - I can't quite envisage it at the
moment, despite looking at the diagrams in the manual.
Bob Frost.

1) Does anyone know if the SF-200 slide feeder from LS-2000 days (off white
colour) can be used with any of the later Nikon 35mm scanners?
2) Also - I have a really handy quick fix for the SF-200 feeder jamming
(they can jam alot). Simply straighten out a steel paper click and tape it
parallel along the top of the dividing wall (that separates the scanned and
to be scanned trays) of the feeder. With fingernail pressure you can slide
it back and forwards very slightly to adjust to different mounts. 5 mins to
install - years of jam free scanning.
