(If anyone wants to know what happened : a #%*£ing spammer sent a spam
attempt to listserver from a spoofed <someone>@<stupidserver>.com address.
Listserver gets about 1,000 of these a week, and did what it always does,
bunged the offending mail back to mailer-daemon@<stupidserver.com>,
indicating that the mail contained no good commands.
Unfortunately, mailer-daemon@<stupidserver.com> was somewhat dimmer than
usual, and promptly returned the mail to listserver...

MAILER-DAEMON@hollister.com... No such user
...thereby forming a nice mail loop.
Approx 5,000 iterations later, my hosting co. exploded and they froze my
email facilities. We are having full and frank discussions, pro tem.
